Mac CONFHORMAOILE—IV—M'Enormoyele, Normoyle, Normile; 'son of Cú Fhormaoile' (hound of Formoyle, a place in Co. Clare); the name of a Clare family who are probably a branch of the MacNamaras (see Mac Conmara); now common in Co. Limerick; in the spoken language Mac Conormhaoile.
