KILNANEAVE

KILNANEAVE, or KILLINAFFE, a parish, in the barony of UPPER ORMOND, county of TIPPERARY, and province of MUNSTER, 4 ½ miles (S. E. by S.) from Nenagh, on the old road from Dublin to Limerick; containing 2136 inhabitants and 4594 statute acres. Here is Monaquil, the residence of — Atkins, Esq. It is a rectory and vicarage, in the diocese of Killaloe, forming part of the union of Kilmore: the tithes amount to £221. 10. 9 ¼.

In the R. C. divisions it is part of the union or district of Templederry.
