Mac FHIONGHUINE—IVM'Kynnoun, MacKinnon; 'son of Fionghuine' (fair-child); the name of a celebrated clan in the west of Scotland. The final e is dropped in the spoken language. The pronunciation, as I heard it in Argyleshire, would be represented by Mac Cionúin.
