Mac CÉILE—IV—M'Hely, M'Heile, M'Heale, M'Keale, MacHale; 'son of Céile' (companion); the name of a Mayo family who were erenaghs of Killala and coarbs of St. Caillin at Fenagh, Co. Leitrim. The name has evidently been confused with Mac Héil, which see.
