Mac an SCOLÓIGE—VIIM'Yscollog, M'Scolloige, M'Scologe, MacScollog, and, by translation, Farmer; 'son of the farmer' (Irish 'scológ'); a rare and scattered surname. In the 16th century, it was most common in Galway, Tyrone and Fermanagh.
