Was born on 25th October, 1806, the second son of Sir Robert Hodson of Hollybrook, Bray, and succeeded his brother, Sir Robert Adair Hodson, as third baronet in 1831. He exhibited landscapes and figure subjects in the Royal Hibernian Academy for many years from 1827, and was made an Honorary Member in 1871. He died on 2nd April, 1888.
