The Arms of O'Daly

The O'Dalys of the North and West of Ireland were descended from Adam, brother to Fargal, the 156th Monarch of Ireland. The name in Irish is O'Dalaighe.

Per fesse argent and orient, a lion rampant, per fesse gules and sable between two dexter hands; crest, under an oak tree ppr, a greyhound courant sable; motto, Deo et regi fidelis.
