John Stafford of Ballymackehan (or Ballymacane) was High Sheriff of the county Wexford, in 1610; be was son of Nicholas Stafford, temp. Queen Elizabeth, grandson of Nicholas Stafford, temp. Henry VIII., and great grandson of John Stafford, temp, Edward IV.—all of Ballymackehan, co. Wexford.
