Muskerry. The people descended from Carbery Musc, son of Conary II. (see Corkaguiny), were called Mus-craidhe [Muskery: The Topographical Poems of O'Dugan and O'Heerin]; of these there were several tribes, one of which gave name to the two baronies of Muskerry in Cork.
