STACUMNEY

STACUMNEY, a parish, in the barony of NORTH SALT, county of KILDARE, and province of LEINSTER, 2 ½ miles (S. by W.) from Leixlip, on the road from Lucan to Celbridge; containing 112 inhabitants. This parish, in which is situated the elegant seat called Stacumney House, is a rectory and vicarage, in the diocese of Dublin, forming part of the union of Leixlip.

In the R. C. divisions it is part of the union or district of Celbridge.
