Ó DUIBHEAMHNA—IO'Doveanna, Devanny, Devany, &c.; 'descendant of Dubheamhna' (Black of Eamhain, near Armagh); the name of an Ulster family who were anciently chiefs of Ui Breasail, in Co. Armagh. Its anglicised forms cannot be distinguished from those of Ó Duibheannaigh, which see.
