Ó BRADAGÁIN—I—O Bradegane, O Bradagan, O Bradigan, Bradagan, Braddigan, Brodigan, (Bradican); 'descendant of Bradagán' (diminutive of Brádach, spirited). This surname, in the 16th century, was almost peculiar to Co. Roscommon. See Ó Bradacáin and Ó Bradacháin.
