Mac FHIRLÉIGHINN—VII—Machirleginn, MacErlean, MacErlane, MacErlain, MacErleen; a variant of Mac an Fhirléighinn, which see. Dermit, Vicar of Drumcliffe, who flourished at the end of the 14th century, is surnamed in the Papal Register, Machinnirlegenn and Machirleginn.
