Mac FHEÓRAIS, Mac FHEÓRUIS—V—M'Orish, M'Horishe, M'Keorish, M'Corishe, M'Keoris, Korish, Corish, [Birmingham, Bermingham, &c]; 'son of Piers' (a Norman form of Peter); the Irish name assumed by Anglo-Irish family of Bermingham, who are descended from an ancestor called Piers or Peter de Bermingham.
