Mac DUIBHEAMHNA—IVM'Doyaoune; 'son of Dubheamhna' (the black-man of Emania, near Armagh); the name of a family in Co. Down who, according to O'Dugan, were chiefs of Kinelawley. O'Donovan gives the anglicised form as Devany, but the surname seems to be obsolete or changed into some other form.
