Mac CONGHAOLA—IV—MacCunneela, MacNeela, Mac Nella, &c.; 'son of Cú-Ghaola' (hound of Gaola, a place-name in Co. Galway); the name of a family of Ui Fiachrach, in the south of Co. Galway. Its anglicised forms can hardly be now distinguished from those of Mac Conghaile, which see.
