BEILLE, BEILLIÚ—XI—Belewe, Bellew; Norman *'de Belleau,' Latin 'de Bella Aqua,' i.e., of Belleau (the fair water), in France; the name of a family of Norman origin who came into Ireland about the time of the invasion and settled in Meath and Louth.
