Our background is more than a QUARTER CENTURY in the bookselling and publishing business.
There have been many changes over the course of that time — not least the arrival of various forms of digital media.
We embraced the concept of these new technologies, but found it difficult to find service providers who could properly satisfy our needs in terms of communication and producing the final product in exactly the way we wanted it. Little care and attention, if any, was given to detail. It generally seemed to be a case of 'take the money and run.'
So, to cut a long story short, we decided that the best policy was to do these jobs ourselves, and subsequently embarked on a steep and painful learning curve to master the ways of the new digital media in addition to traditional book production.
The results have been very rewarding. We can now confidently offer clients a comprehensive range of book production services from proof-reading of text right through to printing or the creation of ebooks in a multitude of formats.
We believe in embracing the new, while simultaneously clinging strongly to the seemingly old-fashioned principles of doing a job properly and providing good service.
