Engraver

From A Dictionary of Irish Artists 1913

"Faulkner's Journal," 24th January, 1759, records the death at his lodgings in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, of "Mr. Richard Close, engraver, a young man of most amiable character, which renders his death greatly lamented by those who had the pleasure of his acquaintance." He was probably related to the succeeding.
