A sculptor whose name is found upon monuments and tombs in churches in the counties of Kilkenny, Limerick and Tipperary. In Cashel Cathedral, in a recess in the south wall, is portion of a monument to Archbishop Miler Magrath (d. 1622). The mural slab with inscription bears the carver's name Patricius Kerin fecerat illud opus. In St. Mary's Church, Kilkenny, the large and elaborate tomb of Richard Rothe (d. 1637) is inscribed Opifice Patricio Kerin, and his work also appears on the tomb of Sir Edward Walsh, 1618, at Abbey Owny Church, Co. Limerick, and on the tomb of Maurice Hurley, 1632, in Emly Church, Co. Tipperary.
