The Treaty of Limerick

These were the principal conditions of the famous Treaty of Limerick. "The Treaty-Stone"—the stone on which the document was placed while it was signed by the two Generals—is still preserved in Limerick. Limerick to this day is often described in Ireland as the city of the violated treaty, for the treaty was violated.
